SMOKE DETECTORS BATTERIES & ALARM COMPANIES

The Fire Chiefs have asked that everyone be advised:

Please notify your alarm company when you are changing the batteries in your smoke detectors. Changing batteries will set off your alarm and the alarm company will call 911 on your behalf.

if the Fire Department responds to the 911 call there will be the minimum charge of $1000.00 to the home owner

COVID 19 Update

The R.M. Office, shops and buildings are closed to the public until further notice. Staff are continuing to work and may be reached by phone, mail and email. There is a mailbox on the ramp at the R.M. Office in Cudworth if you wish to drop off information, it will be checked daily during the week .
Payments may be made by etransfers, teleplay (Credit Union), and by cheque. Payment for taxes through a system similar to TIPPS will be in place in the future.

Council Meetings will be held at the Cudworth Senior’s Centre to meet the requirements of social distancing and a maximum of 10 people will be allowed at any one time in the room. Options are being looked at to allow public participation to meet the requirements of the Municipality Act and follow the COVID 19 Minister’s Order

Municipal Services:

Please sanitize any surfaces you may touch at the water stations and community well. Practice social distancing at all facilities.
